Summer is over, the skies are gray, and you’re having trouble getting back in the groove. Here are a few small tips to help you get back on the ride towards productivity!

 
Clean your desk. Cleaning doesn’t have to be just for spring. Clean out your drawers and redecorate your work space. It will feel new and fresh while hopefully giving you a newfound energy to work hard (maybe?)! If you are REALLY feeling the need for a more drastic change, try moving your office furniture around. Although if you are in a half-pod like me, the craziest thing I can do is move my computer a few inches to the left…

It’s 10:00am and I’m feeling pretty energized and ready to tackle the day. I’ve had my two cups of coffee and have sorted through my emails and paperwork, so now it’s time for some heavy lifting, (a.k.a. blogging).  Some of my colleagues were here very early and way too energized at 8:00am. Other colleagues we know to avoid and not speak to until about 9:00am. So as you can see, even in a small office like ours, peak times of productivity vary greatly depending on the person.
