This month’s spotlight shines on the School of the Holy Childhood. Holy Childhood was founded in 1946 by educators and community leader visionaries who believed in the value of every person regardless of their abilities.
Each year, Special Touch Bakery, a division of School of the Holy Childhood, holds a holiday pie fundraiser. Their mission is to provide a meaningful and compensated employment opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities.
This year’s delicious pies include Apple Crumb ($13), Pecan ($12), Cranapple Walnut ($12), Pumpkin ($12) and Fudge Brownie ($12). To place a holiday pie order, call 585.359.3710. Pie pickup is on Tuesday, November 22nd from 8:00am – 3:30pm at 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester.
Remember, holiday pies are first come, first serve – so please make your order early!
Missed the order date for Thanksgiving? Pies are still available all year long! Order for yourself or consider having a company fundraiser. $4 of every pie purchased goes directly to your organization.
